Trance festivals are popular all over the world especially in Europe and America. All these festivals besides being places for a trance community to meet and discuss the latest trance music also features most of the popular trance DJs. Some of the trance festivals and events around the world are as follows:- The Love Parade. This is a popular festival and parade that lasts one day. It originated in Berlin, Germany in 1989. The music played here is mostly trance video, House, Schranz and Techno. By 1997, the total participants went over 1,000,000. kaZantip also known as Hidden Paradise is simply known as ‘Z’. It is the craziest, liveliest, longest, biggest and most unusual trance, techno and house event globally. It goes on in Ukraine for 5-6 weeks and over 150,000 people attend the festival every year. It is affectionately known as ‘the Woodstock of the east’. San Francisco Love Evolution is a spin-off of the Love Parade. It takes place in America and is the largest dance music event that lasts a whole day. It takes place between end September and beginning October. Some other popular festivals are – Electric Daisy Carnival, Monster Massive, Ultra Music Festival, Boom Festival, Dance Valley, etc.
